Boeing,the world's leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners, defense, space and security systems is setting up an Engineering and Technology facility in Bangalore at an investment of Rs.1,152 Crore.
This facility focusing on Electronics and Avionics manufacturing is to come up in the 36 Acres land alloted in the Aerospace park at Devanhalli is cleared by Karnataka Government.
Boeing is to employ about 2600 professionals when this facility is fully operational. This is going to be Boeing's second largest Engineering facility after its technology centre in Seattle, USA.
In June this year Boeing inaugurated the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) in Bengaluru employing more than 1000 people working on cutting-edge technologies that will drive aerospace innovation from India, for India and the world.
