Aerospace and defence technology startup Constelli has raised $3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Pravega Ventures. The Hyderabad-based company intends to use the funds for capital expenditure and research and development (R&D) of new products.
Founded in 2017 by Satya Gopal Panigrahi and Avinash Chenreddy, Constelli focuses on advanced signal processing solutions for aerospace and defence systems. According to Chenreddy, the funding will enable the company to develop new products and expand sales and marketing efforts.
Constelli’s products and services cater to organisations developing radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems. Its clients include India’s Ministry of Defence, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and defence contractors in South Korea, Australia, and Singapore.
The investment comes amid increased interest in aerospace and defence technology startups. Between 2020 and October 2024, the sector attracted $184 million in total equity funding, according to Tracxn, a data intelligence platform.
A representative from Pravega Ventures stated that the firm is confident in Constelli’s capabilities and the team’s growth trajectory in the radar and EW domain.
This is Constelli’s first institutional funding round.
