Motherson, through its subsidiary CIM Tools India Pvt. Ltd., has signed a multi-year contract to supply aerospace components and assemblies directly to Airbus' final assembly lines. The production will take place at Motherson’s aerospace facility in Bengaluru, India.
The company already supplies components to Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space and will now expand its role within Airbus’ commercial aircraft supply chain.
Kunal Bajaj, President of Motherson’s Aerospace Business Division, stated that this agreement is expected to contribute to the company’s growth and aligns with its ongoing investments in advanced manufacturing technologies.
Motherson’s aerospace division operates 16 facilities across four countries, supplying aerospace components and assemblies to original equipment manufacturers.
The contract marks an expansion of Motherson’s presence in the aerospace sector, complementing its existing business in automotive, technology, health, medical, and industrial solutions.
