Hyderabad-based defence and aerospace start-up N Space Tech has appointed Madhumita Chakravarti as its Head of Research and Development. In this role, she will oversee research initiatives in radio frequency (RF) sensors, radar systems, and aerospace defence applications.
Chakravarti has over 30 years of experience, including her tenure at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). At Research Centre Imarat (RCI), she contributed to the development of programmable and reconfigurable airborne RF sensors for air and missile defence programs. She was also involved in designing multi-function RF chips for RF sensors, which have been deployed by the Indian Air Force and Army as part of weapon systems.
A senior executive at N Space Tech stated that Chakravarti would lead advancements in RF systems and aerospace technologies. The company focuses on research and development in defence and aerospace applications.
