In a significant step toward bolstering India's self-reliance in the defence sector under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, ACE (Action Construction Equipment), the country’s largest crane and leading construction equipment manufacturer, has secured an order to supply 99 specialized forklifts with a 3-tonne lifting capacity.
Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Dharmendra Singhal, Head of Institutional Sales at ACE, remarked, “This order from the Ministry of Defence reflects the trust in our equipment’s reliability and performance. He added, “The receipt of work orders worth approximately ₹66 crore within a month highlights the promising growth potential for our business in this domain.”
The 99 specialized forklifts are expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency in challenging environments, further underscoring ACE’s dedication to delivering robust, high-performance machinery. These forklifts, along with rough terrain cranes, will be instrumental in improving the Ministry of Defence’s operational readiness by providing durable solutions for critical applications.
ACE offers a diverse range of forklifts to cater to various industry needs, with models capable of handling capacities from 1.5 to 16 tons, covering both light and heavy-duty tasks. The 14th RAHSTA Expo, a key event within the India Construction Festival, will be held on October 9 and 10, 2024, at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai.
