Air India has announced plans to introduce help desk kiosks and additional staff at airports to assist customers as it finalizes the integration with Vistara on November 12. This step aims to facilitate a seamless transition for over 115,000 passengers who purchased Vistara tickets before the merger and are expected to fly with Air India in the first month after integration.
In addition to the support kiosks, Vistara’s airport ticketing offices and check-in counters will gradually transition to the Air India brand. Customers who contact Vistara call centers will be automatically redirected to Air India representatives, ensuring continuity in customer service.
According to an Air India statement, Vistara’s routes, schedules, and in-flight crew will remain unchanged, maintaining consistency for passengers during the merger period.
