Airbus delivered 766 commercial aircraft to 86 customers in 2024, according to a company press release. The company also reported 878 gross orders for the year, resulting in a year-end order backlog of 8,658 aircraft.
Among the 2024 deliveries, the A320 Family accounted for 602 units, followed by the A220 Family with 75, the A350 Family with 57, and the A330 Family with 32. These figures represent an increase from the 735 aircraft delivered in 2023.
In terms of new orders, Airbus secured commitments for 82 A330s and 142 A350s, demonstrating growth in its widebody aircraft order book alongside its established position in the single-aisle market.
Christian Scherer, CEO of Airbus Commercial Aircraft, highlighted the introduction of new aircraft models to customers, including the first deliveries of the A321XLR, A330neo, and A350 to various operators globally.
Airbus plans to release its full-year financial results for 2024 on February 20, 2025.
