IndiGo announced an expansion of its winter schedule, adding new routes and resuming services to enhance connectivity across East and Northeast India, as well as Thailand. The new additions aim to address increased demand and improve accessibility for travelers in the region.
The airline is introducing new domestic flights to cities including Agartala, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Dimapur, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. Internationally, IndiGo is increasing flights to Bangkok, Thailand's capital, providing travelers with additional travel options in the winter season.
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo's Head of Global Sales, stated that the new routes are part of an ongoing effort to strengthen regional connectivity, adding that the expansion is expected to facilitate economic growth, tourism, and cultural exchange in these areas.
The cities included in IndiGo’s expanded network are known for their cultural and natural attractions, drawing a range of visitors from nature enthusiasts to business travelers.
