Rahul Bhatia, Managing Director of InterGlobe Enterprises, stated on Thursday that IndiGo, India's largest airline, aims to collaborate with Air India to enhance India's position in the global aviation sector. The statement was made in connection with the passing of Ratan Tata, former Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, on Wednesday.
Bhatia remarked on Tata's significant passion for aviation, noting that Tata had long been associated with Air India. He expressed his intent for IndiGo to work alongside Air India in contributing to the growth and presence of Indian aviation on the global stage.
Bhatia’s comments were part of a statement issued by InterGlobe Enterprises, the parent company of IndiGo.
