Kineco Aerospace & Defense has started construction on an additional manufacturing unit at its Goa location, aimed at boosting production capacity for primary aerostructures and complex assemblies. The new facility spans 30,000 square feet and is located at Plot No. 61-B, adjacent to Kineco’s current operations.
The facility, designed as a three-story building, is expected to be completed within 11 months. This expansion will support the company's Aerospace and Defense division as it seeks to broaden its capabilities in aerostructure manufacturing.
In line with its sustainability goals, Kineco will equip the facility with a rooftop solar PV installation. This initiative is expected to achieve carbon reduction benefits equivalent to planting approximately 500 trees per month.
According to a press release from Kineco, the new unit represents a key step in supporting both domestic and global aerospace manufacturing requirements.
