Mahindra University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus to collaborate on research, education, and innovation in aerospace and digital technologies. The partnership will involve curriculum development, industry training, faculty and student exchanges, and research initiatives in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and cybersecurity.
The agreement also includes provisions for internships, placement opportunities, joint events like symposiums and workshops, and partnerships with international institutions on aerospace-related projects.
The MoU was signed by Mahindra University's Vice Chancellor, Yajulu Medury, and Airbus India and South Asia President and Managing Director, Rémi Maillard, during an event attended by Anand Mahindra, Chancellor of Mahindra University.
Commenting on the collaboration, Rémi Maillard noted that it aims to support the development of a skilled workforce for India's aerospace industry by combining Airbus's expertise with Mahindra University's academic resources.
This partnership reflects efforts to integrate academia with industry, offering students opportunities to work on practical projects and gain exposure to advanced technologies in the aerospace sector. The collaboration is expected to strengthen ties between the two organizations while contributing to innovation and talent development.
