Zen Technologies Limited introduced three new defence systems at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru, showcasing advancements in anti-drone technology and combat solutions. The unveiling was attended by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, who emphasized the role of indigenous innovation in national security.
The newly launched systems are designed to enhance aerial surveillance, combat precision, and defence capabilities against emerging threats. These include:
Zen Vyomkavach: An anti-drone system offering real-time detection and neutralization of drone threats, including swarm attacks and larger UAVs.
Four Barrel Rotary Machine Gun (12.7 x 99 mm): A high-intensity weapon system aimed at countering aerial threats with increased firepower and adaptability.
Twin Barrel Autocannon (Turreted 20 mm): Designed for combat helicopters, this system provides improved targeting accuracy in fast-moving battle scenarios.
Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies, stated that the company aims to develop advanced solutions that address evolving security challenges.
Zen Technologies has a research and development facility in Hyderabad and has applied for over 155 patents. The company has delivered more than 1,000 training systems globally and supplies defence solutions to various security agencies.
Aero India 2025 serves as a platform for the global defence sector to explore advancements in military technology. The event attracted officials, military representatives, and industry stakeholders examining new defence capabilities.
