Aero India 2025, the 15th edition of the biennial aerospace and defense exhibition, will take place at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, from February 10 to 14, 2025. The event is expected to bring together stakeholders from the global defense and aerospace sectors, focusing on partnerships, indigenization, and technology development.
The first three days of the event are designated as business days, while February 13 and 14 will be open to the public. The program will include air displays, static exhibitions of military platforms, and various business-oriented sessions.
Key activities planned include a Defence Ministers’ Conclave, the CEOs’ Round-Table, and the Manthan start-up event. The Defence Ministers’ Conclave will discuss international defense collaboration under the theme "Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement" (BRIDGE). Several bilateral meetings involving senior Indian defense officials are scheduled alongside the event to explore further opportunities for defense and aerospace collaboration.
The India Pavilion will highlight indigenous manufacturing capabilities and advanced technologies developed under initiatives such as Make-in-India. A dedicated iDEX pavilion will showcase innovative technologies and products developed by Indian start-ups.
The CEOs’ Round-Table aims to promote manufacturing opportunities in India, attracting participation from global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), domestic public sector undertakings, and private defense and aerospace companies.
Dynamic aerobatic displays, live technology demonstrations, and themed seminars will also form part of the program, emphasizing the capabilities of modern aerospace platforms and emerging technologies.
Aero India 2023 reportedly drew over 700,000 visitors, representatives from 98 countries, and 809 exhibitors, resulting in 250 partnerships and agreements worth over ₹75,000 crore. The organizers anticipate similar participation and outcomes for the 2025 edition, aiming to build on the event’s previous successes.
The event is organized by the Indian Ministry of Defence and is considered one of Asia’s prominent aerospace exhibitions.
