Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a delivery center in Toulouse, France, focusing on AI-driven solutions for aerospace, manufacturing, and defence sectors. Located near Toulouse Airport in Blagnac, the center aims to leverage advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, and data analytics, to enhance efficiency and innovation in aircraft design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
The facility is expected to support initiatives such as improving fuel efficiency, developing lighter aircraft materials, and implementing predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. Toulouse joins TCS’ existing delivery centers in Lille, Poitiers, and Paris-Suresnes, reinforcing the company’s presence in France, where it has operated for three decades.
According to Anupam Singhal, President of Manufacturing at TCS, the new center is intended to advance aerospace manufacturing capabilities using AI and TCS’ expertise in the sector. The company has also indicated plans to increase its workforce in France and expand collaborations with local academic institutions, such as Pôle Léonard de Vinci and EPITA, to develop skills for the evolving digital economy.
TCS reported $29 billion in consolidated revenues for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, and operates in 55 countries with over 607,000 employees.
