Aero India 2025, the 15th edition of India’s biennial aerospace and defence exhibition, is set to take place from February 10 to 14, 2025, at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Organized by the Defence Exhibition Organisation under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, the event will feature business sessions, air shows, and exhibitions aimed at fostering industry collaboration and showcasing technological advancements.
The first three days of the event will be reserved for business visitors, while the final two days will be open to the general public. The event will include key discussions such as the Defence Ministers’ Conclave, a CEOs’ Round-Table, and an exhibition area featuring the India Pavilion and international aerospace companies.
The Defence Ministers’ Conclave will focus on international defence cooperation under the theme ‘BRIDGE - Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement.’ Various bilateral meetings are scheduled to take place, involving senior defence officials and international representatives, to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships in the aerospace and defence sectors.
The CEOs’ Round-Table is expected to facilitate discussions on defence manufacturing in India, with participation from global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Indian public sector undertakings, and private defence firms. The India Pavilion will highlight indigenous defence manufacturing initiatives, including technology developed under the iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence) program.
Aero India 2025 will also feature aerobatic displays and live technology demonstrations, along with multiple seminars on topics related to aerospace innovation, defence collaborations, and emerging technologies. The event aims to provide a platform for industry stakeholders to engage in discussions on policy, research, and manufacturing advancements in the sector.
The previous edition, Aero India 2023, recorded participation from over 100 countries, 809 exhibitors, and an estimated footfall of more than 700,000 visitors. It featured a flypast with 53 aircraft and hosted multiple business-to-business agreements, with over 250 partnerships valued at more than ₹75,000 crore being finalized. The event showcased various aerospace products, including the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, Light Utility Helicopter (LUH), and other indigenous air platforms.
Aero India 2025 is expected to continue the momentum of previous editions, with expanded global participation and a focus on advancing India’s role in the international aerospace and defence industries.
