Dynamatic Technologies Limited has inaugurated a dedicated assembly line in Bangalore for manufacturing the rear fuselage of the D328eco, a 40-seat regional turboprop aircraft developed by Deutsche Aircraft. The facility will support serial production as part of a broader aerospace manufacturing partnership between the Indian and German companies.
The new production line follows a strategic agreement established in 2024 and reinforces collaboration between the two companies in the regional aviation segment. The fuselage assemblies produced in Bangalore will be integrated into aircraft assembled in Germany.
The launch event was attended by Tobias Gotthardt, State Secretary of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. Company representatives included Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, and Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies.
Speaking at the event, Neumann said, “Our partnership with Dynamatic Technologies fortifies the global supply chain and underscores our commitment to sustainable aviation. This collaboration, supports the efficient regional transport system under the Udaan scheme, is a testament to Bavaria's role in driving aerospace innovation and fostering international cooperation.”
Malhoutra added, “We are honoured to build this critical structure for the D328eco here in Bangalore. This assembly line is a testament to the 'Make in India' initiative, our deep capabilities in aerospace and our commitment to supporting green aviation goals globally.”
The collaboration is expected to contribute to transnational supply chain development and enable the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies in Indian aerospace production.
