InterGlobe Aviation Financial Services IFSC Private Limited (GCE), a wholly owned subsidiary of InterGlobe Aviation Limited, has relocated to a larger office in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The move is part of the company's expansion of aircraft financing operations to support the growing fleet of its parent company, IndiGo.
As of March 31, 2025, GCE has financed over 30 Airbus A320neo family aircraft and acquired several ATR aircraft, which have been leased to IndiGo. The company began operations on July 15, 2024, after receiving its captive finance company license from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on June 26, 2024. The first aircraft was delivered through GCE on August 22, 2024.
GCE is expected to finance the majority of IndiGo's aircraft in the future. The new office is intended to enhance its financing capabilities and serve as a base for future growth.
Pieter Elbers, Chief Executive Officer of IndiGo, stated, “We are delighted to move to our new office at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. In line with the government’s vision to create a world-class, self-reliant ecosystem for aircraft leasing and financing through Gift City, this expansion supports our growth strategy, enabling us to enhance services and explore new opportunities.”
The inauguration of the office included participation from the company’s senior leadership and representatives of international aircraft leasing companies.
