Air France and KLM announced an increase in their weekly flights to and from India, expanding from 39 services in the summer to up to 50 in the winter schedule. The additional 11 flights will connect Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru with Amsterdam and Paris.
Starting October 30, Air France has introduced a second flight on its Paris-Delhi route, with three weekly flights added to its existing three flights per week. The airline also expanded its Paris-Mumbai route frequency to six flights per week, up from three, between December 10 and February 17.
KLM also announced changes to its flight schedule. The airline will increase its Bengaluru-Amsterdam service to six weekly flights, up from four during the summer. Additionally, KLM will add a second weekly flight between Mumbai and Amsterdam, which will operate three times per week from January 14 to March.
Claude Sarre, Country Manager for Air France-KLM in the Indian Sub-Continent, noted that India represents a significant market for the airline group, with increased frequency offering travelers more flexibility during peak travel seasons.
This expanded schedule allows passengers from India access to over 300 global destinations via the airline group’s hubs in Amsterdam and Paris, providing greater connectivity options.
