The United States will participate in Aero India 2025, an aerospace and defense exhibition, displaying a range of military aircraft and technologies. Over two dozen U.S. companies will be present at the event, showcasing developments in unmanned aerial systems, fighter aircraft, avionics, and defense electronics.
The U.S. delegation will be led by Jorgan Andrews, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, and will include representatives from the U.S. Departments of State, Defense, and Commerce. Other senior officials in attendance include General Kevin Schneider, Commander of U.S. Pacific Air Forces, Brigadier General Patrick Teague, Senior Defense Official at the U.S. Mission in India, and Chris Hodges, Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai.
Since the previous Aero India exhibition in 2023, the United States and India have engaged in further defense collaboration, including in areas such as technology innovation, maritime security, cybersecurity, logistics, and counter-terrorism. General Schneider stated that the event serves as a platform to display U.S. defense equipment and enhance interoperability through information sharing, liaison officers, training exercises, and defense agreements.
Aircraft expected to be on display include the F-16, F-35, KC-135 Stratotanker, and B-1 bomber. The exhibition will provide an opportunity for U.S. defense firms to engage with Indian counterparts and explore business partnerships in the aerospace and defense sectors.
