Dassault Aviation has announced the creation of a new subsidiary, Dassault Aviation MRO India (DAMROI), to focus exclusively on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of its military aircraft in India. The subsidiary, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, aims to support the Indian Air Force’s Mirage 2000 fleet and other Dassault-supplied fighter aircraft.
DAMROI, incorporated in line with India’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative, will leverage Dassault Aviation’s technological expertise to enhance local MRO capabilities. According to the company, the new entity will offer customized products and services to ensure operational readiness and efficiency for the Indian Air Force.
The initiative also aligns with the “Make in India” policy, contributing to India’s aerospace manufacturing sector and supporting the “Skill India” program through training and education initiatives. Dassault Aviation stated that DAMROI represents its commitment to collaborating within India’s defense ecosystem.
In 2023, Dassault Aviation reported €4.8 billion in revenue and has delivered over 10,000 military and civilian aircraft globally.
